I could have gone to a specialist for that amount. When it was time to pay, she quoted me $ 540! I was really surprised because that was not the amount I was quoted earlier. She did say that it will take about 6 weeks to fade away. She instructed me to apply the lotion at night before bed time. She just showed me a picture of a bottle of Mederma lotion from her cell phone and said I can buy it at Bed, Bath and Beyond. Betty did not really explain the procedure and she did not have aftercare instructions to hand out. My treatment took about an hour and after it was done, I was honestly horrified at the dark burn spots on my face. Luckily my friend’s daughter was in the same room and heard Betty quote me the same amount. I even repeated it saying three hundred twenty dollars? Betty said «yes». She spent about 3 minutes in the waiting room upstairs looking at my face and quoted me $ 320. She was running back and forth from one client to another. Betty was the person who does these treatments and she seemed very busy that day. It stated «Permanently Remove - say Goodbye to spots, bumps and pigments anywhere on your skin! Only one treatment needed! 100% results Money Back Guarantee! Starting at only $ 18» When I went in for my appointment, I was advised that the esthetician has a consultation with client first before proceeding with the treatment. I decided to try Harmony Beauty Spa’s offer that was advertised in the Monthly Grapevine. As I’m getting older, I’ve acquired several brown age spots on my face. I was satisfied with the results and the esthetician was gentle and took her time. I’ve come to Harmony Beauty Spa for a facial in the past and have had a good experience. Clearly, she didn’t want to take the appointment so why was it made in the first place? I give them one star because I never would recommend a business that supports this type of treatment to new clients. Is that how you treat new business? They lost out on a great client. Overall, I just think that her attitude, lack of understanding, and less than impressive customer service skills made me feel that this is not the type of establishment that will go the extra mile for their clients. I would have understood not having lashes as full as I liked. As a professional, I totally respect others time and would have been ok with her cutting my appointment short by 15 minutes due to a late arrival (eyelash extensions take at least an hour). Unfortunately, she thought it would be best for business to not take me even though I was there. I then explained that I got lost but that I was right outside and that no one made me aware that she stayed late and that they actually close early. As I was parking, I received a call from someone saying that they could no longer do my lashes because she stayed late to take my appointment and I’m 15 minutes late. Unfortunately, being new you the area, I got lost and arrived 14 minutes late to the appointment. New clients: DO NOT BE LATE FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT! I’m new to the area and was looking for someone to do my eyelash extensions in Vallejo.
